97 camry trans prob
Had a problem with my 97 4cyl/auto camry's transmission today. I would put the car in gear and it didn't feel like it engaged. When I tried to drive it, it wouldn't move until the engine crossed 2000rpm. I also got a code 770(defective shift solenoid), later also got 758. Checked both main solenoids(click test), they seem fine. The SL solenoid doesn't click. Book says the 3rd solenoid controls tq lockup. Is SL solenoid my problem? If so where can I get one, the major stores don't list one, is it a dealer only part?
