Gen5 header help

i just put on a 4-2-1 header on my 92 st with black dei exhaust wrap and there smoking pretty bad but my engines not overheating at all y is it smoking and 1 know? somebody reply

Hey, I just got a 92 Celica ST, and actually was wondering where you got your headers from? I cant find shit online for this car.

And for the answer to your question, thats really weird considering putting headers on shouldnt make more dark smoke come out? I've never heard of it happening before, but maybe theres some weird reason.

it's just the inside of the header getting burnt up, eg: paint, clearcoat, etc... give it a couple days and it'll go away
