Nothing electrical is working

My daugthers 90 Celica is totally dead. No ingition, no radio, no lights, nothing.

I installed a new battrey, cleaned the cable terminals and still no go. I used a small light tester on the new battrey and it was fine. I used the light tester to test the ends of the cables by touching the cable then touching the body and the tester worked great. I also touched the positive side of the battrey to the negitive cable end and it worked fine.

Any ideas?

There is normally a fusible link in the power wire from the battery. Use the light to determine if power is getting to any of the fuses, etc.

check the wires leading from the positive batt terminal.. this happened to me and it was a broken wire, not the main positive cable but a smaller one near it

Was the old battery dead, if so did you just attempt to start the car and find it dead. Did you try jumping the car to get it started?

The fuses can be in series and then branch off. Often a series of parallel fuses come of a single source of power. See if the blown fuses have anything in common such as their power source (other then the battery of course). Perhaps something in a circuit overloaded, blowing out all the fuses in this circuit.

Hard to imagine all the fuses blowing, check each one with an ohmmeter. You would be better off finding a wiring diagram to give you an idea of the circuits.

Below is a link to Camry service info. Not the same as your model but may be close enough to help you.
