KYB GR-2s

Hey, my new struts just showed up, pretty excited, but I was wondering how everyone else likes the KYB GR-2s? Interested in knowing if I got the right stuff.

You can never go wrong with KYB GR-2s. What springs are you going to run the shocks/struts with?

Stock, for now, can't afford new ones yet. My trans will come first, unless my coils appear to be broken. Which brings me to my next question: spring suggestions?

KYB GR-2 max drop recommendation is 1.5", so that will leave you with Tein S Tech, TRD, Tokico, and Eibach Pro-Kit.

I had the KYB's with eibach pro kit springs on my '93 GT liftback. Honestly, it was maybe a tiny bit stiffer than stock, but not much.

If you're stock struts are in good shape, you might not notice much of a difference. They are good struts all around though, and you definately made a good purchase.

Enjoy!

Finally got around to getting them on, they were a bitch! But well worth the effort, it handles quite...decently, lol. No more scrubbing the wheel well for me! But seriously, I am very happy with them, $170 well spent, in my opinion.
