help no heat

alright i did a search and nothing is helping me i have an 86 gts and io have no heat what so ever now with the car it can run get all hot and still not heat now i thought okay simple change the thermastat and it should work well nope didnt work so then thought maybe the one i got is poched somehow so i got another one and put it in and it still did not work so got mad and loked into it further and decied up against the firewall there is the little control that moves forward and back so i decide to bypass it and then it should always have hot water to it and always blow hot but yet that does not work it blows really strong but will not blow heat what so ever what is wrong with it how do i fix it any ideas any help much appreciated if some one has any help pppplease i live in saskachewan and guess what it is colllllllldddddd io need heat please help

Well we know the lines are not airlocked, and the hot cold door i think may be the box we bypassed, clogged heatercore aint sounding to good to me I just had my dash ripped out to upgrade the Stereo, now i gotta rip it apart again, that sucks i shoulda checked it then
