Camber Adj. on 83 GTS

Just got a 83 GTS coupe, all original from an original owner. It has 113,500 miles on it. Just wondering what would cause in the inner side on both rear tires to wear - more so on the right tire. Of couse it has the independent rear suspension. I'm thinking it needs new suspension parts ie bushing, shocks.... Or do you think it just a 4 wheel alignment.
TIA

Whats a ride height check? I'm thinking the distance from the ground to the top of the wheelwell. Do you have any specs?
TIA

on the GTS shoud be about 26" from the ground to the top of the wheel arch. There are two bolts that hold the center section in place if they come loss that allows the section to fall causing a negative camber condition which is what your describing. Id start by checking those bolts to see if they are tight. At some point the owner may have had diff work done and the person who did the work didn't get those bolts tight. the other thing that might cause that is if there is a problem with the axles because of the design of the rear the axles replace an upper arm so they position the tire and the lower arms help "fine tune" how the whell sits.

Thanks for the response. I will check on the two bolts to see if they are tight. On the axle, what should I be looking for to see if the axles has any problems?

look at the rubber boot to see if they are torn to indicate a problem.

The right side looks to be slightly torn because I do see some dirt collecting around the boot area. The left boot looks pretty clean. Also, the tire on the right is wearing a little more than the other tire. But I see what you mean, if there are any wear in the CV joints that would make the tires sit a little different.
