'94 GT Airbag Light on Dash...

Mechanic told me the airbag codes on his diagnosis system claims the problem can be in any of about six locations throughout the front end including the steering column. (It is NOT the computer module) He does not want to do the job because of unknown hours of labor. My daughter drives this vehicle and I would like the airbags to deploy if needed. Any ideas?

go to another mechanic, did the light just randomly come on or did a fuse blow first? (thats what happened to me and I just cleared the computer after replacing the fuse)

Maybe this can help.... I was messing with my fuses under the dash, installing a electrical guage. After I did that, My airbag light came on.

one thing you can try yourself would be to disconnect your battery cables then touch them together to reset your ecu. I do that then my airbag light stays off for about 2 minutes. Maybe in your car, it will reset it for good. Who knows???
