engine problems..noob

my car was running fine, it was cold out and i decided to beat on it off the start u know a lil smoke show for my friends and when i stopped burning out i stopped at a stop sign and my car stalled...i then tried to start it up and it wouldnt idle right and seemed like it wasnt gettin enough fuel, air, maybe a blown head gasket. i dunno..
so i drove it home at 4 miles per hour considering it would only let me idle at highest of 3500 k...i arrived home and started lookin for the root of the problem and im honestly stumped.. i do not know anything about these cars and well ive had three of them and they were all the same style pretty much but none had this problem..
i changed the rotor in the distributor cap, spark plugs, looked at the exhaust manifold for holes, fuel filter, and wat i noticed was there was a small wire burnt out on the front of the engine oil pressure sending unit wire i think..and also i noticed my intake was not still attached to the manifold so i fixed these problems and im still at the same point... it stutters real bad kinda like it has rcae cams in it but the fact is it doesnt and it wont rev unless u do it slowly and u stil cant drive it anywere...im assumin a blown head gasket or maybe sensor or soemthing somewere...but i dont wanna jump to conclusions..if any one has had a problem like this please get back to me asap..like i said im a noob to this and well im not exactly a mechanic but im willin to learn ..and it would be nice to learn on my car for a first job...please get back to me asap with any thing that u can think of..
thanks guys
sincerly

Your car is a Gen 4. You may have snapped a rod? cuz now you are firing off of 3 cylinders?
My 1993 celica had a snapped rod and ran like described. However, the 1993 celica had a 4afe and now we replaced the entire engine. 5afe

A compression test will revel a non-working cylinder. Or start pulling plug wires until you find one that can be removed without causing any more engine problem.
