So Im Getting My First Celica Saturday - 2003 GT

Hey guys. well since in a couple days I too will become a Celica owner, i figured I would join the Toyota boards...

The only question I really have as of now about the celica, is where can I buy aftermarket parts for the celica... I mean i have located part stores online that have a few products, but there should be some store just for Celicas it seems.

Primarily I am looking to replace the hideous stock shifter knob, is this easy to do? I really do not know much about modifying cars at all so maybe you guys can help me.

Nice choice.

There are many places to find aftermarket parts for Celis. It really just depedns on what you want. As for a replacement shifter it is quite easy of you have a MT. Easiest place is to check ebay. If you have an Auto it is possible to change it also. Levoc shifters would be the brand I would look at for an auto.

Also for install guides and other reviews also check out teamcelica.com or newcelica.org

Plus post some pics of your new ride once you get it!!

I don't know how far you're willing to drive but theres a shop not to far from me, Plantation, that does a lot of work with Toyota's and I know the guy is familiar with Celicas too because he has a 6th gen. Give em a call or visit im sure if anything he knows good places to get parts
