Is It Possible To Swap Out The 5sfe In A 5th Gen Celica And Put In It's Place The 1jzgte Engine?

Anything is possible. How much $$ do you have to spend? Your going to need lots. YOu will have to convert to RWD because of the length of the motor it won't fit in in the stock configuration for FWD. Meaning you'll be doing a lot of custom fab work to the floor pan as well as having to find or have narrowed a rear end with the right track width.


Also if you would delete the other 4 threads with the same heading.

not to mention cutting the firewall for the tranny. the tranny/motor mounts that would be almost completely made from scratch. godluck on locating the motor/tranny/drive shaft/rearend/ecu/wireing harness and turbo setup. let me knowhow it goes.

And if you want to go through that much trouble why not stick a Chevy 350 v-8 small block in her. Do a rw drive conversion and then you have a drifter.
