Questions on 90 Celica GT

Hey guys,
I am brand new to this board and I have a quick question for you guys.. I have just puchased the 1990 GT and am curious on how much HP the following mods would do. I know the 90 celica was rated at about 16.5 on the 1/4, but im wanting to try and get it into the high 14's on all NA. What would I be needing to do this without a rebuild? If I do go with a rebuild would it be easier to just import a 3s-gte and swap? I read up a couple pages back and it seems like you guys really recommend that engine (from the GT-S right?) If so what is the pricing on the engine normally? Any info or links that could help out would be appreciated. Below are the mods im considering.

1) Intake - K&N
2) Exhaust
3) Headers
4) Chip

If you're lucky, the mods you've listed will get you down to around 16 flat.

14's is quick dude. If you wanna do it n/a be prepared to drop some serious cash on the 5SFE you've got or possibly import a 3SGE and build that. You're looking at a lot more than I think you realize, cams, valvtrain, machine work, high comp pistons. Expensive. The 3SGTE is out of the MR2 turbo and the Celica GT4/Alltrac/Turbo 4wd.

Yeah, im looking into doing a swap rather than modding out the NA engine. streetimports has the jdm 3s-gte for 1500 + 500 for tranny. My car is fwd so it should be nice on the highways :P

If you're getting an alltrac motor then you can't use the tranny that comes with it.
