need help w/97' st. please...

Hello guys, Im new to this website. I have a quick question. my engine threw a rod on my wife's 97 celica st. it has the 7afe in it. I couldn't find another engine here in KC. so I bought one from ebay, from a import engine company that gets them from japan. the engine is a 5afe. from a 93-94 corolla. I was told that this would work, I know I have to change the oil pump housing since mine has a crank sensor. the company called today and wanted to know if mine has the egr port in the intake? they said they would send out one with or without if I would let them know which one I need. they are shipping out tomorrow.
so do you know if I need the one with the egr port or not. or can I just use my intake off of my 7afe? thanks for any help....Lonnie
