4th Generation Rattling noise from my 88 st Celica

Hey people got a bit of a problem that I need some help with, this may or may not have been asked before but i'm new to this forum so I don’t know.

I have a 1988 St celica which is making a kind of rattling noise from the front of the car, but it only does is in gear when ur accelerating, but goes away if you put the throttle all the way down, it doesn’t seem to do it when the oil is cold only after ive been driving for a bit and the motor is hot, it does it in every gear so I don’t think it's the gear box but something else in the drive train. its not in the motor because when I pull up when I get home and put it in to neutral and rev the engine it doesn’t make the noise

the motor is a 3s-fe with a 5 speed manual
at the moment ive got 20-50w oil in the motor.

any help with this matter will be appreciated

Cheers

Hmmmm, I was going to mention that perhaps it might be a loose heat shield, but that would likely rattle when revving in neutral, I'd imagine....... wish I could be of more help. Not too tranny savvy, here....

hey everyone, i had it checked out and it was the input shaft bearing on the gear box, it's either not getting enough lubrication, or its on its way out which will mean rebuilding the gear box or replacing it, hope this can help some one else, and thanks everyone for your help.
