Why Doesn't Anyone Answer My Post?

I wrote a post earlier asking for help installing a short shifter and no one answere or replied to it. I was wondering if it was because no one knows or if no one cares. PLEASE RESPOND TO THIS ONE AT LEAST. I am a newbie and want to spend my time at TOYOTA NATION as productive as possible. Thanks to everyone for their time.

it's because no one likes you..

im kidding..

unfortunately there aren't aren't as many Celica owners on TN as there are Camry owners, and Tacoma owners. What you can do however, is search on Google for short shifter installs, as they're basically all the same.

Might have better luck on a Celica specific forum, like celicatech.

Do a search for shifter install. I believe there are a few in here.

Basically take the old one out and put the new one in. Very few will actually write down what they did step by step and post it up.

You are in a celica sub forum of a Toyota forum. I'm talking a website for only Celicas, but thanks for the smart ass reply to me trying to help

Hey, we're just trying to help you get the right answer. if we dont know we just point you to the right web site that can help you. What exactly are you looking to find. installing a short shifter is pretty straight forward. remove the shifter consul, delink the shifter linkage from the bottom and the side (it might be easyer if you just un-bolt the whole thing). once the cables are disconnected you take the shifter unit apart and install the shortshifter, lube up the shifter ball and reinstall.
