USA 1.5 drop and 215/40/17 tires will it work

need info on lowering 90 celica gt 1.5in in front and back and putting on 215/40/17 on it i also am putting on brand new shocks. any help will be appriciated

215/40/17 tires are very close to the factory tire diameter so it should work just fine. only a 1.3% difference in diameter.

Make sure your offset is in your favor. I had stock sixteen inch rims and tires off of a 2003 wrx and the offset didn't work.

I tried wheel spacers but the offset correction wasn't enough.
So if you are close and could use spacers, I do have a set.

Yep offset will be your biggest problem other than that size will work..
