Question quick question

hey just a quick question. i have a 83 celica gts and it's rear bumper is starting to pull away from the car. is this a problem that needs to be fixed as soon as possible? what's causing it, rust and old age? anyways i'd appreciate any responds and help with this

not sure.. i would check to see if there is rust build up under your supports.. If so you may be able to unbolt them nock off the rust and put a nice coat of primer on them to help the rust. Does it need to be done asap? well i would take care of it befor it gets worse

Undo the bolts and look underneath. It might just be the nuts coming undone on the bolts, it might be rust eating away (unlikely) or it might be the small shock absorbers in the safety bumpers giving way.

i don't think it's too bad yet but i guess i'll check it as soon as possible. where are the bolts located and how many are there on the rear bumper?
