4th Generation Fuel delivery 88Celica

I am not getting juice to my fuel pump.I thought the pump went out so I was in process of changing it .I took out the gas tank float thinking it was the pump and realized I would probably have to drop the tank to change the pump so I decided to test the wires there to see if I had juice and I did not .I ran a temp jump wire to pump to see if pump worked and it did.I then checked if wire to pump had juice going to it in the door jam wire and it did.I am wondering if there is a relay somewhere back behind the seat somewhere or if I just had a bad wire..someone please help before I add a additional celica to the graveyard,I really need this car and I am by far experienced with fuel system ...thanks in advance....long time reader, first time poster..anyone hear mr obvious on the Bob and Tom Show which they are from here in my native Indy(Indianapolis Indiana)

upon further testing I noticed the pump was running but only when I was turning the key
I jumped the (B) and (FP) with a wire in the diagnostic terminal and the car runs fine.
from reading from this forum(mostly DrJ's info and autoshop101.com which was a site he advised.I think it is my air flow meter, but I have no Idea where this is located.I would like to know where it is located and also where the fuel pump relay is located on my 88 celica ...please help and thanks DrJ
