3SFE wont restart

I have a 86' ST162R with a 3SFE motor. I can generally start the motor when it is cold and it drives well. Once I stop the motor, it will not start again sometimes for 3 to 24 hours. I have checked the fuel at the filter and it has plenty of fuel and pressure. It has spark (varying strength). I have changed the coil, plugs and rotor. Does anyone have any suggestions please.

still at a loss with it, but.... I have found that the idle control valve under the throttle body makes a buzzing noise for a short time when the engine wont start and is silent when it will start. I have found that by pushing the ICV plug off and on a few times the buzzing will stop and the engine will start. I have cleaned the ICV out as it was siezed with carbon. I have checked the engine fault codes and it has only one code showing which is 11. can anyone peace this together???

I wonder if you could get it to idle nice if you could pull the connector and the IAC would keep the engine idleing at the right engine speed... I wouldn't expect it to start without a litte throttle (while cranking) and while the engine warms up. Maybe it'll work...

Buzzing sound is normal. Code 11 is for power interruption to the computer. Check EFI relay wiring and connectors.

I had that for a while, it was my rusty coil. Car won't start when coil is hot.
