Cylinder head survey

I'm replacing the head gasket on my '88 GTS. I need some suggestions on what to do w/ the cylinder head.

A) Have it 'tested' (how much should this cost?) and reinstall it as-is if there's no damage.

B) Automatically replace it w/ a rebuilt (how much should that cost?).

C) Assume everything is fine and just reinstall it if there are no visible signs of cracks and it's not warped when I straight-edge it.

I live in Sacramento, CA if that helps w/ estimates and suggestions.

I would do B or C. B should be around $375 for a good head and head gasket. C is my personal choice because you can visually inspect the head very well with a straight edge and your eye, make sure your valves arent burnt, that you dont have crap in their and make sure to get all of the old headgasket off. Then buy a head gasket set (http://www.rockauto.com/catalog/x,ca...6,partGroup,20) and put it back together! have fun!
