please help me 93 toyota celica

i was driving my 93 toyota celica gt in the rain. came to a stop and stalled the engine. when i tried to restart it. It would not start. all the electrical came on but the engine would not turn over. please help me with answers.

dont know

i also push started it and it started right up. I got it home but when i turned the car off then tried to restart form a stand still it would still not start.
so because i drove it home it cant be hydrolock. But thank you liplip please if you have anymore ideas tell me.

If you got power and engine won't turn, check you starter and starter fuse.

yeah, sounds like fuse or maybe a blown starter relay, mine died on me for no reason on a dry day.

Also, check to see if your starter is engaging (clicking noise or check for power)

Check your distributor for any cracks. If it was raining, moisture might have gotten into the cap and is giving you non-start issues.

Thumbs up Fixed it

hey thank you guys for helping me with all the great info you were a big help. but the solution was a fuel shutoff switch that was hidden near the pedal. i wish when i bought it 5 hours before it died that the sales man would have told me about that security feature. but thank you again you were a big help.
