2003 Celica GT Belt Change

Does anyone have any info/pictures on changing the drive belts (not the timing belt). I am trying to locate where to take the tension off to remove the old ones and install the new ones. Thanks.

Pick up a breaker bar... a standard ratchet won't fit in there... and it takes alot if you use a wrench... w/a breaker bar... its a 1 man job. If you look at the tensioner bracket... you'll see a "nut" that's molded onto the bracket... you put the socket on that & w/the breaker bar you'll be able to leverage off the tension.

Go with a Goodyear Gatorback belt

19mm socket... preferrably six sided...
I just pulled mine off tonight... was gonna change it... but, its in good shape.
Definitely go with a Gatorback belt... especially if you have the typical squealing problem. Gatorback puts an end to it. The one I just inspected has around 50K on it... looks fine & still no squealing
