i'm new to the whole fixing up cars stuff, but i wanna try swapping engines with my cousin's help. Just wondering if it's a good idea and how much would all of it cost.

Yes it's possible, however, it's quite expensive.

It will probably be cheaper and easier for you to just buy an ALL-TRAC.

i did this swap on my 89 and 88 gts. it is very expensive and the wiring is hard if you are not experienced. the swap itself is very easy cause everything just drops right in getting it to work right is hard.

i spent close to $3k on everything but this was 5 years ago. its a lot cheaper to get now. maybe $1500 to $2500 for the whole swap.
