Gen1 Tire Question

Im posting this for my girlfriend that has a 05 celica gt w/ 17" motegi rims......

Is anyone running 17x7's with 235/45/17 on them? She brought her new tires to have put on and they said they were too big i find this hard to believe, her old tires are 215/40/17 and we both think they looked too small.I'm driving a 03 vw GTI with a 235's size with no issues. Any info would help. ive searched w/ no luck

Standard size should be 205/45/17. I don't understand why you or your gf would even attempt to try 235, I'm guessing this is for DD. What first your car may not fit hers.
