Check Engine Light

my friend has a 2000 celica GTS. His check engine light has been on for about 3 weeks now. There seems to be nothing wrong with the engine(no weird noises or anything along that line) and when we go uphill, at certain times the light will start to blink on and off like a turn signal. Any ideas what that might be?

I think its a fluid sensor.

take your friend's car to a local auto zone, i heard they can tell you what the problem is by reading the code of the check engine light.

Take it to autocrap, they can tell you what the code is, not necessarily what the problem is.
