Can a 1984 celica 22re be bolted up to the transmission of a 1986 22re toyota pickup SR5 4 BY 4 ?

Do you need to use the celica computer or can you use the truck computer? Is there any advantge of using on over the other?

Both car and truck are 5 Spd standards

Yes.
All 22R engines have the same bellhousing bolt pattern.
Not sure about the computer.

Are you putting the Celica engine into the pickup or the pickup trans into the Celica?

Yes, it will bolt up.
No, ECM's (and block/head are different). The early 22R-E (not the same as the 22-RE in your truck) doesn't use a knock sensor or electronic timing advance.
To make it work you will have to drill and tap a hole in the block for the knock sensor that's on the truck engine.
Swap ALL your truck parts over; intake, exhaust, distributor, accesories, brackets, wires, etc. onto the Celica engine, as well as the oil pan and oil pick-up tube.
