"S" family engine questions

Just out of curiosity, seing as the 5sfe and 3sgte are from the same family of engines could you mate the head and manifolds from the 3sgte to a 5sfe block? Potentially making a 2.2L turbo / 5sgte? or

Also, if they would mate to eachother, would the compression drop or raise because of the cc of the combustion chamber? Just wondering if there's even a possibility.

Thanks for any input!

not to be mean but that is the most idiotic things iv heard a 5sfe is a 2.2 an the 3sgte is a 2.0 so you could use the turbo but not the header or manifold sorry

THIS RESPONSE IS BS, just read the link above give to you by Razo-E and you should be good...many have made 5sgte. The turbo manifold BOLTS ON PERFECTLY to a 5SFE making a 5SFTE, also common as hell (if u leave the head the same).

I think the 90-91 5sfe blocks line up perfectly with the with the 3s head, the others will require some work. Best of luck if u try, make a thread for it too
