Problem & Question!

1. Driver's side headlight low beam doesn't work.

I thought that it was the sealed beam that I installed, so I went back to the store yo get a new one. Right after installing it (5 seconds later) the low beam cut out. High beams work fine, it's just that the low don't work. I tried fooling around with the 3 way connector like trying to clean it with WD40. There was corrosion there, but what could be the problem? I tried switching back to the working one that came with the car and zilch. Nothing. Any suggestions?

2. Is the fan supposed to be ON all the time? (Except for when the car is shut off)

When I turn the key (one click onward) the fan is always on. Is that normal?

1.) Low beam has a short? or.... Check all your fuses.
2.) Your fan is not suppose to be on all the time. The temp sensor for the fan is broken. Auto parts store should be able to tell you which part to replace..
