Swap Shop!!

I live in MN and am looking for a shop or a mechanic that can do a simple 5sfe swap or a 3sgte swap into my 90 GTS. Is there someone in TN here that would like to do it for me or know of any good shops in the midwest? Thanks in advance.

Doesn't look like any body's interested. I am coughing up the money for the swap and all. I am paying for service. I'd do it myself, but I don't have the knowledge to and if somebody here who has already done the swap themselves, could give me more pointers than dropping the cel at the shop and pray it comes out running. ANYBODY INTERESTED or know somebody? Thanks again.

A 5S-FE swap and 3S-GTE swap are very different in terms of complexity, time and money required.

If you just want to replace your 5S-FE with another 5S-FE, you can probably find a fair number of places that can do it for you in Minneapoils, but a 3S-GTE swap would be a lot more involving and the places that could tackle that kind of work are few and far between.

Unfortunately, I don't know of anybody in MN.

Thanks Tom. I know it's a complex swap, if I do find someone to swap in the 3S-GTE for me. Me brother and I were disscussing this and I know it'll cost a bit more, but the thought of upgrading the motor is something to alays fuss around with. I've had the celica for the past 6/7 year and I've been on TN but lost my account while I was abroad. Now that I am a bit more financially secure, I am hoping to make the Celica what I've always wanted. Hoping to have a front wheel 3S-GTE in there. If that doesn't work, I'll just have to settle for a 5SFE. STILL LOOKING....
