4th Generation Help a new guy out?

Hey everyone. I recently picked up a 1986 Celica gt as a present for my girlfriend. I'm doing some minor maintenance to it, and now I'm on to changing up the plugs as I don't believe they've been done on this car for several years now (no way of knowing for sure, but they did look dirty as hell)
I asked the service guy at the local canadian tire what plugs he thinks I should get, and he ended up selling me these NGK IX Iridium plugs. BPR5EIX-11
I tried to read up on them and it was all information about the heat range of the plugs and what not, and to be honest, I'm no car guy, I only really know the basics.
Are these plugs in the proper heat range for my Celica? if not what do you suggest I get?
Thanks for your time.
Troy

Stock plugs should be fine, looks like you got upselled. Try to make your title more descriptive so that others who do search can find the answers.
