No power in gear

Getting back to working on the car again. Have a rebuilt engine that I have running but when I try and drive it does not have any power. When sitting I can rev the engine and it will respond with no issues. I believe the timing to be correct and all vacuum hoses are connected. I talked to someone the other day and they were saying something about having to reset the computer after a rebuild but not sure if this was one that had to have that done or not and I have never heard of that before.

There is new plugs/wires/cap/etc

I am probably missing something easy but need some pointers on where to look and possibly what have wrong.

Thanks for any advice you can help me with

Kerwin

No power when in gear but OK when out of gear may mean the engine is not getting enough fuel. Fuel pump, pressure, filter, etc.
