Celica Alarm Problems!!

I own a 1999 Celica GT convertible. This morning I opened up the driver's side door, and the alarm started going off! That's never happened before, and now it won't stop happening. In fact, I think I may have a short or a ground-out, because my battery is drained, and I can't start the car.

I don't have a fob. I don't have an owners manual, and for the life of me I can't find any information on resetting/disconnecting the alarm so I can have my car back! Can anyone out there help me out, or at least point me to a downloadable owners manual?

Well first off you need to find out if it's an OEM alarm or aftermarket.

Usually if the alarm is bad you have to remove it from the car.

It's a separate harness wired into the car.
