Common problems on 00 GTS celica?

like title said, i am about to pick up a GTS for my sister, it's an auto w 110000miles on the odo.

things i have notice:

a/c is weak

wear on the side of the seat.(two tone cloth btw)

accessories belt is showing cracks

it's not as fast as i though it would be, esp the 180 torque advertised.

anything else i really have to check for this car? common problem? tranny? locks? etc

The autos tend not to be as fast since between shifts the tranny doesn't allow you to stay in lift, and Toyota advertises 180hp and 130tq. The tranny will hold up, the only thing to look out for would be changing your lift bolts, http://www.teamcelica.com/tech/installs/liftbolts/ With such high mileage the a/c being weak sounds about right, might have a leak but that's not as common with the 7th gen.

you are right about the tq, kbb.com made a big mistaken on their site

check for oil leaks, they tend to burn ALOT of oil. Id suggest looking for 03+ if you can, there are so many issues you will avoid, it would be benificial for her in the future.

And the '03+ comes with an upgraded black interior and glass moonroof.
