Sad to say but I am giving up on the swap. I was talking to a mechanic who could do the swap for me and said it wouldn't be worth it. The cost itself could possibly get me a running Celica. I guess it was my fault to have waited so long... Anyways, just thought I'd let you 5th generation owners know I have 90 GTS, black, manual... thinking about calling the junk yard, but the body of the car is in fairly good condition. Maybe some body would like to purchase it for parts? Or I would be willing to part out as well. On the side, I have a set of Eibach sport edition springs (150 obo), and a set 17X7 White ADR GT Sport rims (450 obo), 5X100, no tires, new, never used, still in box. Any one interested could message me. Thanks for looking.

i just wanna ask about the condition of ur cars body, bumpers...etc.

Jeeperz, the car was painted 3 yrs ago, but left in the garage for the past 2 yrs. They're minor rusts under the body. I'll try to post up pictures soon. Is there something you're looking for in particular?

I could use the hatch shocks. Fenders too maybe. Plenty of other parts. When are you free? I'm right around your neighborhood.

i would be interested in the front bumber. and possibly the hood. does the hood hove the vents in it.? .if you would want to get rid of the parts give me a call. at 315.244.0200

Yeah right dont even quit on this just do it urself its noot hard the engine drops in and just get someone to do the wiring for you the 5sfe tranny bolts to the 3sgte or you can even upgrade to a mr2 turbo tranny with a LSD or a V6 camery transmission whisch also bolts up and can take any extra power it you do upgrade the 3sgte just dont make it 4WD and it wont even cost that much and you can find people who make plug-and-play wiring harnesses for like 400 bucks so do it up man ... phoenix tuning does harnesses check em out on the net... PLUS you say the body is solid so why the hell not do it man, dot scrap it thats a waste, 3sgte's have been rumored to run 500 hp on STOCK internals so kick ur mechanic in the balls and do the swap urself
