What to buy?

I drive a 2001 Celica GT (auto) and I want to boost the power a bit. I'm looking into buying a pulley kit, header, and exhaust. Any reccomendations?

AEM intake with the BB mod, Hotshot header, and TRD exhaust.

The money spent on a pulley kit could be put to better use elsewhere.

AEM makes a nice intake, i think injen makes a short ram style if that is what you are looking for. As for exhaust you get what you pay for and big brand names are usually good.

Wink

You may also consider how much power you really want. more power = more money spent~!
You may just want to get an gts instead, if you ending putting alot of money.

Don't waste your money on a pulley kit. AEM/BB mod intake, Weapon-R street header (or wait until the PPE race header), and a TRD exhaust.

Short rams will yield you basically no gains in power, but they do sound nice.

I'd vote for picking up a 5spd GT or just eating the cost and trading up to a GT-S. THEN you're talkin'.

I'd love to trade up to a GT-S, or get my hands on an All-Trac My problem is finding a good GT-S at a price I can get to. Someone is looking at my car right now, I'd just have to come up with the rest

I'm asking $10k for my ride, if that interests you. I've got an ad in the classifieds up.

I'd prefer to buy semi-locally. Thanks for the offer though
