After market gauges on a 91 celica gt-s

Has n e one done this to their car? Bcuz mine just came in today, and i was gunna attempt to put them in. The needles dont need to be removed do they? And if someone has done it, i was wondering if they had some pictures and instructions on how they did it. as seeing i have no ideawhat im doin or where to start. Thx alot guys

Never did them on the Celi, but for most cars they slip under the needles.

dou know how to get to the gauge cluster tho?
like i mean take it out, so you can slip the needles under?

I think you gotta take out the whole dash. My advice is go to Canadian Tire or any other place that could carry em, and pick up the full repair manual. Its a great book to have, and will pay for itself time and time again. This book has pretty much everything you need to know.

No need to remove the entire dash. All the screws you need to remove are the ones around the instrument cluster itself. If memory serves me correct there are 4 screws holding the instrument bezel and 4 holding the cluster itself. Remove the cluster and the clear clover plate-that should be held on by a few clips. Depending on which gauge faces you prurchase you may or may not need to remove the needles.
