looking to get ac system for my 91 celica gt. any ideas ?

was your car a part of the recall?
Only way to find this out is for you to drive to a local dealership and give them your vin...if it turns out to be OPEN (meaning) they can perform work on your a/c system (replacing your evaporator core and filling in new gas)...but if there are problems on your a/c system, get those fixed (like leeky lines or something, before you take it to the dealership). Try taprecycling for used parts

card did not come with ac....so i am looking to put one in and i am hopping that there is someone in toronto area with dead celica and i would take whole system out

Look in the for sales sections at www.celica.net (i think it was a parts car only - another 5th gen) in NY or something....try your search there! Good luck!
