AE92 (ae92) moon foof same as same year celicas?

is the moon roof on a corolla gts (ae92) the same as the one that comes on similar year celicas.
are any mods needed?
I found 2 nice junk 88 or 89 celicas near my home, how hard is it to take the roofs off of them?

thanks- krissy

I don't believe they are the same. They could be similar in dimension however. The AE92 has a different shape to the roofline. If memory serves me correctly.

Would you be using the roof to replace one you already have in your Corolla or are you thinking about cutting and adding one?
