ummmmm....3sgte, or some combo of them there letters. The turbocharged AllTrac motor - swapping it into an ST (the lightest weight 5th gen Celica models) makes for a quick ride....not a cheap swap, though, unless you're mechanically/electrically competent and "know people" who can help (and still not necessarily cheap)....It's a decently strong motor, and in the lighter chassis of the ST, it's the obvious choice, imho.

The obvious choice but not easyest or cheapest.

Before you jump to it. To swap in a 3sgte you'll need to weld in new motor mounts for an ST. Since you already have the setup for an A series engine. Take a look into the 4age 20V Silvertop and Blacktops. They can easily put put out a potant 150hp with minor modification. Staying NA. You also have the option of the 4aGZE that is the supercharged 1.8L out of the AW11 MR2. It's a small 160hp but Does offer the potential for modification. There have been a few successfull 4afte's but that's an untravled road. If I were the one swapping I would do an A series motor. If you find the 3sgte is what you really want. I would look into buying a GT, find one with a beat motor for 2-500$ and swap into that. It would most likely be cheaper and less time consuming than getting new mounts welded in.

If you're a welder however. It's pretty easy.

ok with the 4aGZE engine would i be better of leaving the super charger on it or putting a turbo charger on?
