00+ Celica

I am looking to get an intake but I don't know which one would be the best to get as far as preformance goes and how much it will add to my car.... May anyone suggest a good intake on a 00+ Celica GTS and perhaps a link so I can check it out and possibily purchase

Injen and AEM are said to be the best, excluding TPR (now discontinued) I'd suggest the AEM as it performs better than injen in the lower rev range. Although Injen give s 1 or 2 more up top it's not as noticable since gts is all top end. Check out newcelica.org there are tons used, and new in group buys.

The Injen intake will make the most power, but it is more likely to cause a lean CEL.

The AEM makes more low-midrange power.

The TPR is guaranteed not to cause a CEL. I have the TPR and love it.

Best way to go would be to buy an AEM replica on eBay.

If you are going with a standalone EMS, the Injen would be best.

If you have the stock ECU, TPR would be the best. But you can't really find TPR intakes, so the AEM would be the next best.

The eBay AEM replica is exactly like the AEM and is a fraction of the cost.

The AEM and the one on eBay are EXACTLY the same. Same gains for MUCH less. Unless you want to pay $200 for the AEM sticker.

The only intake that is guaranteed not to cause a CEL is the TPR... but you can't buy the TPR anymore.

Some people get the CEL from the ebay/aem/injen, some don't.
