95 GT wont start
I was going to rebuild starter today but had to stop after removing wires to it. I reconnected the wires secure and tight, hooked up the neg pattery cable, got in car and it wont start. Eveything else works. When I hold clutch in and turn key, no sound or action at all execpt I hear fuel pump. So, I am assuming no power at all to starter. Rechecked wires, all o.k. I assume it must be a relay or my alarm system. Alarm made a quick squeel when I hooked up neg cable and alarm sets, unsets, locks doors etc. Can Anyone help? Thanks 9/24/07 UPDATE: I bought the 2 kits from Toyota for $26. and rebuilt the starter...Starts and runs great .
