Hmmmm, I wish you luck. First off, are you talking about the weatherstripping sections in the top, or the rubber on the edge of the back windows ? (am assuming the former...) When I bought my car a year and a half ago, it needed the strip that seals the rear window to the roof. My "friendly" Toyota dealer quoted me a price of $300+ for a new one

I also needed a tonneau, and they quoted me $1200

Needless to say, I found someone parting out their vert on a Celica site, and he sole me all the weatherstripping plus clear corners/turns for dirt cheap. Someone else had read a post about me complaining about the $1200 Toyota wanted for the tonneau, and he sold me his for a little over 100 shipped (the tonneau definitely looks so much cleaner when the top is dropped). Check into the used part market (online at Toyota sites, junkyards, etc), as it's your best (and affordable) bet. Unfortunately, our verts aren't as common as most Celi's (outside of the turbo awd cars, I guess), having been done by an outside company (ASC) so that kind of stuff is going to be harder to come by. Good luck.....
For the record, according to an e-mail response I got from ASC about conversion/production numbers of Celica convertibles, they did an even 5000 in your model year.
