celica 2003 radio and clock not on..any advice would be nice

the radio and clock is out..i tried to tap the ignition wire for the remote on the amp im installing ...not my car so i dont really know what happened ..i just ran the wires for him..he tells me a month later the radio keeps turning on and off ..now the radio and clock is just dead..i checked the radio fuse in the fuse box .its still fine..but i cant seem to find a couple of other fuses that are connected to that wire..so my problem is finding power for ignition on the radio..any help would be greatly appreciated
