I dont think there was any diffs other than the name. Remember there are diffs between a normal and a rc or CS alltrac motor

Basically: RC = Japan and Carlos Sainz = UK

And sorry about the horsepower numbers I believe you are correct check out this link they discuss the topic a little bit: http://www.alltrac.net/phpBB2/viewto...er=asc&start=0

If you are looking to get a newer motor it will probably come out of japan anyways I have never heard of a company importing motors from europe.

The main physical diff. on the motors between a rc vs non is the intercooler is water to air not air to air

Yeah the CS and the RC are same powerwise. The only difference physically is the Carlos Sainz has a Plaque in the interior with a Carlos Sainz signature and the number of the car out of how many produced.

um, what i've been reading on other forums, and other celica based sites, is that the rc, because they are jdm have more hp, because of the more aggresivly tuned ecu, but thanks for the physical differences, i needed those

Sounds like you're reading differences between USDM and JDM power numbers, or standard GT-Four vs. RC/CS. I've owned my car for almost 10 years and been active in all the All-trac/GT-Four communities I could find since then, and that's what I've read.

Sorry that sounds cocky, don't mean it too, just trying to validate my point.

I just got that post off of www.alltrac.net if you are looking to buy an alltrac you should sign up there.

I thought you were just looking for motor diffs but I reread the top and some of the exterior diffs are a different front bumper and different hood it is not the scoop you are used to seeing on usdm alltracs.

What exactly is USDM, because, i know that jdm is "japan domestic market"? all the places i've found say that european carlos sainz have less hp than the japanese rc because of the rc's ecu tuning, is this not true? what hp rating do they both have?

does anyone know what the stock psi is, what it can go too, and why i've heard some people drive there cs/rc in the winter?

JDM is Japanese Domestic Market.
USDM is United State Domestic Market.

The US generally gets less power than Japan because of stricter emissions laws in the US.

Yeah, I don't think the Euro cars have stricter emissions than the JDM. The CS and RC have the same appearence, aside from badging.

Go join alltrac.net it's the best place for info.

Stock psi on the regular all-trac is 8psi, not sure if it's the same on the CS/RC or not, but you can usually go to about 12psi before anything serious needs to be done.
