Nitrous? Anyone running a setup in a 1zz-fe?

Just wondering, because I'm thinking of going N2O, instead of relying on rumours of turbos and supercharger kits.

Hi Phaseshift, I am running a 50hp Wizards of Nos wet nitrous set up on my celica 1zz-fe, it is a single port set up with no progressive controller yet and the car handles it (just), i have had the clutch slip when I had a passenger and the pressure in the nos bottle was high but most of the time it is fine and gives you a good throw back in the seat. Im planning on getting a controller and increasing the jets to give a 70hp shot. Engine is stock btw. Hope that helps.

There are turbo kits for the 1zz.
MonkeyWrenchRacing has them.
NO2 is a good way to shorten the life of your engine. Not to mention it's only a short boost of power.
