2003 oil filter

Just recently purchased a 2003 gt after the transmission on my 94 basically imploded. I climbed up under my new car today so i could change the oil and just generally get an understanding of how this car is set up, and I couldn't find the oil filter. Granted there is a large piece of plastic covering the bottom of my car, I just don't want to go ripping stuff off though.

If anyone could tell me where to get a repair manual, or simply point me to my oil filter i'd be grateful.

hi there, I have a 2k gt, just changed my oil 2 days ago. If you cant see the oil filter (which located right in front of the oil pan, by in front i meant it face toward the front of the car) that mean you might have to remove that huge plastic cover under ur car.
I guess in a logic sense, if you went under the car, can't see the oil filter or have no room to reach to it... then the solution must be to remove the plastic piece. Just be careful removing the lil black pinches, some might break during the removal. You can buy a handful at the dealership.
