Angry 91 Gt - No Power!?

I have a 91 GT, 5SFE with no power under load, alreday cleaned the cat, changed fuel filter and plugs, took out the air filter, wires are next... the coil was jerried off of who knows what... the coil wire itself was broken but has been re-engineered. when I unplug it from the cap there isa fine white dust and some obvious charring... Could this be what is causing my SEVEER lack of power(I can spit farther faster)????

same problem here, revs fine (maybe a little slow) but tops out at 6000 not 6500. had this problem for 80k miles. So it can't affect drivablity

Changed the plugs and wires all together, it will rev in park no prob, and even move slugishly when cold, but when she gets warm, the rpm will flutter between50 and 950 and the thing won't get out of it's own way. After running for a while and I shut it off, it won't start and kick a really sick rich exhaust stink back thru the vents...

i think if the timing were out, the behavior is too inconsistent, and no error codes on the dash lights... seems to defy logic
