You talking about the bolt pattern? They have a different bolt pattern.

Which year Supra and Celica are you talking about?
The rear wheel drive Supra and Celica ('70-'85) both had 114.3mm PCD with 4 lugs.
The post '85 Supra had 114.3mm PCD with 5 lugs.
Not sure about the post '85 FWD Celica.

I have JDM spec '85 Supra rims on my '77 Celica.

Your terminology is a little incorrect. Lugs are just the nuts that go on the bolts. Your interested in the lug pattern. In this case, they are different. So your Celica rims will not fit a future supra. At least the 4th-7th Gen Celicas.

Just FYI, lugs are the same as wheel studs, and lug nuts are the wheel nuts.

Definition:
"Lug: (mech) projection from a casting, etc. by which it may be fixed in place."

in theory they will, just becuz the bolt pattern is the same doesnt mean the rest of the wheel will fit, they have to have a certain width, and be short enough or you wont be able to turn and i see alot of people bring rims into my shop and find out they hit the brake caliper or something, ALWAYS test fit! it will save you alot of time and loads of money

It's not a theory. Unless he has some Willwood or Brembo calipers which I seriously doubt.

Oh - well that's a given. You quoted my reply simply for the Scion rims which are known to fit.

Aftermarkets you need to check the backspacing and offset, width and diameter.

No, those are others' Celicas. I have 18'' Konig Reasons.

I threw the idea around also, but they're simply too narrow of a wheel for me.
