90st blown up at 4am

i blew up my celica's motor this morning at 4am going to a fire calll.... i have a 4afe in it now i would like to put a 5sfe in.... can anyone tell me the difference between the set up of these two... like can i use the same tranny from the 4afe on the 5sfe? going to be my first swap in this celica so i need some help

I think you'll need the 5sfe tranny, you'll also need new motor mounts, ecu and lots more

what do i need? the stock motor for my car is the 5SFE but the guy i got it from put the 4AFE 1.6L in it to save on gas. i just looked at pics of both motors and they both look the same. but what do i need and who has it?

Yeah that .6 liter really did a helluva lot on gas.

Well the 5sfe has a different transmission & motor mounts. The ECU will have to be replaced and the wiring will have to be converted back to 5sfe.
