Exclamation 7AFE motor swap options?

Hey guys. I'm new here and I had a question that I'm sure someone on here could answer. I have a 94 Toyota Celica ST with the 7AFE motor in it and automatic tranny. I am about 90% sure that the motor is shot, so I am just wanting to go on and do the full swap. I am not sure what motors can be swapped in and not have a ton of work go into it. Any help at all will be appreciated. I would like to know what parts I would need for the swap as well. I'd love to do the 3SGTE motor swap, but I know those motors can be a bit pricey at times. Thanks

Holy crap, that thing is hideous. Scrap the whole car and get yourself a proper one. If you're going to rice something out, rice a Honda.

I guess there are idiots on here that like to run off at the mouth. This isn't a discussion as to what my car looks like. I know it looks like ass, that's why it's UNDER CONSTRUCTION. The motor is shot, that's why I'm wanting to do something cost efficient b/c air bags are possibly going on soon. It's an automatic ST, obviously nothing fast. Anyone care to help out with some info?

it's going to be a pain to swap anything decent into the car, you are looking at a full manual conversion along side of redoing some mounts to get the 3s-gte in the engine bay. It would be just as hard to go ahead and swap a 1mz-fe v6 into the car, and way more unique. Not to mention the power will end up being the same if not better than a stock 3s-gte swap.

Dont forget... you have an "A" family motor. Meaning Don't forget you could alway swap in a 4a-ge. Lots of mods to get your power up there.

Its the same story as with a 7th gen corolla. You could do a 4agze. You could do a 20v silvertop or blacktop. Those would be bolt in affairs besides wiring. Anything beyond that will be a larger job.
