does anyone know it the 4age 20v blacktop is odb1 or odb2? I have been planning to do the swap from the 4afe to the 4age silvertop. I was looking for the six speed tranny and found it. Thing is... I have only been able to find it in one place and ever then it was attached to the black top. so I was wondering if the blacktop was odb1 or odb2. Just curious why I never heard of anyone swappin in the black top and them only using the silvertop. Any input would be great.

i think its obd1 but i might be wrong and my guess is why everybody is swaping the silver because its cheaper but other than that idk.

Yeah, thats what I thought too. I know I was planning on going with the silvertop because of the price. I just really want that six speed. I was gonna swap trannys later but it would probably cost more than if I just bought it with the motor now. I mean its a 510.00 difference. However I wouldn't have to worry about doing the AFM to MAP conversion down the line or swapping trannys either. Plus I think that it has slightly improved internals and better vvt.
